I have added quite a few additions to the game. The player can now die from: touching exploding enemy and touching an enemy bullet. The player has only 1 life but I pan to add a sheild powerup that is destroyed after one hit. After death, game goes to blank screen, and once you press space the game restarts. When the exploding enemy explodes, 10 bullets explode out of it. They are now slower. Large enemies now spawn 2 exploding enemies on death. I am planning on giving them regenerating sheilds that you must destroy before killing him. Basic enemies follow you until you are in range. Later on, I plan to have them shoot at you. Killing enemies now raises your score. I now consider this a prototype.

April 1st: First Devlog

(note I have been working on this game for multiple months now)

Game lore:

You are a mutated pig. The evil government sends robots after you to capture and experiment on you. You must fight for your life, killing as many robots as possible

Project goal:

Fast paced arcade game where you have very limited ammo, and once you run out of ammo, you must run to a crate containing a new weapon that could be better or worse. You must use this until it runs out of ammo, and continue this loop. Try to kill as many enemies as possible to raise your score until you die.

Currently Have

Player can move around and shoot. You can aim and shoot 16 different guns. Player run and idle animation finished. There are 3 enemies (basic, exploding, tank) but I plan to expand. The enemies cannot shoot or kill you yet. Exploding enemy runs at you, basic enemy follows you until you are in range, tank follows you slowly. Ammo is limited but you cannot change guns
